BASIC APPLICATION
(can be applied over Concrete, Plywood, Fiber cement Board and Painted Surfaces)
Prepare 2/3 of the amount of the required water in a bucket. Using an electric drill mixer, mix pigments (if any) to water. Slowly add Greyscale to the water. Once all the powser is in, add the remaining 1/3 water.
Apply Greyscale plaster thinly to the wall, about 1/16” as a rough first coat. Finish using a steel trowel. Allow to dry from at least one whole day.
Mix Greyscale for the second coat (follow first coat instructions)
Apply Greyscale plaster for the second coat. Apply about 3/16” to cover the first coat and to build enough thickness for finishing.
Finish to level surface using steel throwel. While plaster is drying, use a Plastic Trowel (for Sanded Finish or Steel Trowel for Polished Finish) to smoothen surface. Allow to dry at least 4 days before sanding and sealing.
If needed, sand the surface using a wet or dry rough grit sandpaper, (wet surface when using wet type sandpaper). Wash surface first and allow to dry completely before applying sealer.
